Previously pegged at 15-40 years, it's now 15-30 years old. So, what does this mean for our kapcai and superbiker community?

Budget 2026: Goodies for the Younger Generation?

During the tabling of the Supply Bill 2026 in Dewan Rakyat, along with the age change announcement, Anwar also highlighted several initiatives from the Budget 2026 that would support the youth, which includes many potential riders!

Here’s a quick breakdown:

• National Service Programme: A whopping RM250 million allocated. Could this involve enhanced rider safety courses? Let's hope!
• KYouth Programme: RM200 million from Khazanah to provide on-the-job training for 11,000 youths, regardless of qualifications. Maybe this opens the doors for youths to learn technical skills related to motorcycle maintenance, modification, and assembly?
• Rakan Muda Programme: RM40 million injection. Will there be Rakan Muda moto-events or safe riding campaigns?

B2 License Subsidies Continued!

The government continues to pay for the B2 motorcycle license, which is critical for delivery services, to help poor youth.

“The government will also continue absorbing the cost of B2 motorcycle license for underprivileged youth, ensuring that they are able to be involved in delivery services,” - Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim

This means our young bloods can legitimately earn a living ferrying food and parcels, all while contributing to the Malaysian economy. Less illegal racing, more legal earning!
