Gombak police inspects 124 students riding bikes, 93 summons issued in two-hour op in Rawang
Rawang Students Riding Kapcai Get a Rude Awakening!
Kantoi! Gombak police, responding to complaints from the public, conducted a two-hour special operation in Rawang targeting students riding motorcycles last week. Let's just say, many didn't have a good day.

The operation saw 110 motorcycles and 124 students pulled over for inspection. The result? A whopping 93 summons issued for various traffic offenses. Aiyoyo!
What Were They Nabbed For?
Among the common violations were driving without a valid license (lesen terbang, anyone?), illegal modifications (ekzos bising!), and being underage to even ride in the first place.
Inspector Muhammad Fahmi Shamsuddin and Inspector Syafrina Nadzleen Ibrahim, along with 18 traffic police personnel from JSPT, led the operation at Jalan Tun Perak, Rawang.
More Ops to Come!
According to IPD Gombak's social media, these operations will continue, with a focus on educating students about road rules and regulations. Prevention is better than cure, betul tak?
This isn't the first time IPD Gombak has cracked down on student riders. In May, a similar operation resulted in 72 summons being issued after inspecting 95 students and 75 motorcycles. Lesson not learned, maybe?

So, to all student riders out there, make sure your kapcai is road legal, you have a valid license, and most importantly, ride safely! Ingat family tunggu di rumah!
