Good News for Riders! Free B2 License Programme Gets a Boost!

The MyLesen B2 programme helps riders get licensed for bikes like the Yamaha 135LC.

Our Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, announced that with the original 15,000 quota almost fully used in the first half of 2025, they're adding another 10,000 slots nationwide. *Mantap!*

Each B2 license costs RM350, and the ministry is allocating an additional RM3.5 million to cover these new slots. *Ini semua free, tak payah keluar duit sendiri!*

"We’ll add 10,000 to the quota starting middle of this year nationwide. The cost for each license is RM350, fully covered by the ministry," - Anthony Loke, Transport Minister.

Why is this important?

Loke stressed that the MyLesen B2 programme aims to help our *anak muda*, especially those from the B40 group, boost their income and improve their lives through better job opportunities, including the gig economy. It's also about making sure all riders are skilled and safe on our roads.

What can you do?

The MoT is urging schools to identify students riding without a proper license and guide them to join the programme. If you know someone who needs this, spread the word!

And to all the future MyLesen B2 graduates, remember to be responsible riders and road safety ambassadors. *Jaga diri, jaga orang lain di jalan raya!*
