Road Rage Horror in JB: Motorcyclist Bashed with Bat, Kicked by Four After Overtaking
Salam sejahtera, geng riders! You wouldn't believe what went down in Johor Bahru recently. What started as a regular ride home turned into a brutal nightmare for a 33-year-old motorcyclist, who found himself on the receiving end of a vicious road rage attack.
According to Kulai police chief Tan Seng Lee, the shocking incident, which has since gone viral on social media platforms like X, happened on Tuesday night, around 9:50 PM, near Masjid Sementara Bukit Batu, Kampung Bukit Batu Community Centre. The victim was just cruising back after performing his prayers when things took a dark turn.
The Trigger: A Simple Overtake?
Police believe the whole terrifying ordeal began after the motorcyclist overtook a grey Proton Saga. This seemingly minor traffic interaction escalated quickly. The car, reportedly driven recklessly, then suddenly overtook the victim and stopped dead in front of his motorcycle, forcing him to hit the brakes hard.
Brutal Assault and Escape
Four men then jumped out of the car. One of them immediately attacked the rider, striking him on the head with a stick โ believed to be a baseball bat โ causing him to fall off his bike. The other suspects didn't hold back either, joining in to kick the helpless victim before callously snatching his motorcycle key and speeding away from the scene.
The 33-year-old sustained head injuries, requiring five stitches, along with several other injuries to his body. Imagine the trauma, bro. Just riding home, and then this happens.
Police on the Hunt
Kulai police are taking this incident very seriously. The case is currently under investigation for reckless driving (Section 279 of the Penal Code) and voluntarily causing hurt with a weapon or dangerous object (Section 324 of the Penal Code). They are actively tracking down the suspects following the victim's report.
Road safety is everyone's responsibility, and violence has no place on our streets. Let's all ride safe and keep our cool, no matter the situation.
