'Polis Samaran' Robbery Gang Busted in Pantai Dalam!
KUALA LUMPUR: Kantoi! Three fellas pretending to be police officers got nabbed early this morning in Pantai Dalam. Apparently, they were robbing motorcyclists at gunpoint. Macam gangster betul!

According to reports, the incident happened around 3:30 am near Jalan Kampung Pasir. The Pantai police station's motorcycle patrol team spotted four suspicious characters.
Brickfields police chief Assistant Commissioner Hoo Chang Hook stated that the victim was threatened with a pistol (turns out it was fake!) and robbed of his IC, phone, and wallet. Aduh, teruknya!
These jokers tried to escape on their bikes, but the police team was too fast. They were arrested right there and then!
The police recovered a pistol-shaped lighter (confirming it was a toy), two motorcycles (a Yamaha LC V8 and a Honda RS150), and the victim's belongings.
Turns out, their *modus operandi* was to target lone riders or pedestrians.
"They would act like police, flash a fake gun, and demand money or valuables. If the victims didn't cooperate, they'd threaten to arrest them!" Hoo said.
Apparently, two of the suspects have criminal records, with one wanted under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
The case is being investigated under Section 395 of the Penal Code (gang robbery - could mean up to 20 years in jail and *rotan*) and Section 170 (impersonating a public servant - up to two years jail, a fine, or both). Jangan main-main!
Hoo stressed that the police will take serious action against anyone involved in robbery or pretending to be police. Betul tu!
He also urged the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activity. If you see something, say something!
